CPS Faculty Professional Development Day Materials Available Online
Saturday, May 14, CPS hosted an important day of Professional Development. The program included a facilitated presentation (“Crank Your Student Engagement Up to an 11!”) by Jeff Borden, Senior Director of Teaching and Learning at eCollege. Later in the morning, faculty had the opportunity to participate in four Great Ideas for Teaching (GIFT) sessions, that provided practical solutions to common teaching questions. During the lunch hour, several Poster Sessions were available. Following lunch, faculty met by School.
The opening sessions are available streamed to distance faculty and four GIFT Sessions will be streamed. (The directions for accessing the streamed video are below.) Also, the materials shared with participants in each GIFT Session will be available on the Insite portal, Office of the CPS Dean, shortly after the Professional Development Day.
