The College for Professional Studies at Regis University aims to design online courses that comply with universal design standards. The Center for Universal Design at North Carolina State University defines universal design as:
An approach to the design of all products and environments to be as usable as possible by as many people as possible regardless of age, ability, or situation.
Making web pages that are accessible to individuals with exceptionalities is a subset of universal design. Though we aim to design fully accessible courses, we sometimes fall short. Please note the following Regis University policy regarding Equal Access and Disability Services:
To ensure the provision of reasonable and appropriate services at Regis University, students with disabilities must identify themselves in a timely manner to the Office of Disability Services (ODS), Room 118B, Life Directions Center, 303-458-4941, email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it in order to be eligible for requested accommodation(s). Current and comprehensive documentation must be on file with the ODS prior to approval of the accommodations. Students are strongly encouraged to self-disclose their disabilities at the beginning of their academic experience because accommodations are not retroactive.
As policies change, the most recent information for Disability Services is located at: http://www.regis.edu/regis.asp?sctn=sl&p1=dis&p2=eligibility.
